Services
The subject of the contract is medical travel preparation and accompaniment to the agreed extent (no travel organization, no nursing care). These services are included for the patient, an accompanying person and a caregiver. If additional people travel in the group, a separate fee must be agreed for this.
Medical activity is subject to the laws of the country of travel and is fully executable in Austria and on aircraft of Austrian airlines. It may be that it is restricted in the country of travel and there is only possible advice, first aid or cooperation with local doctors.
Additional services (e.g. carrying medication or medical equipment) can be agreed upon for an appropriate fee depending on availability and the necessary effort. Outside of Austria medication must be carried by the patient himself.
Fees
The fees must be transferred to the account specified by the doctor.
50% of the fee is due immediately after the contract has been signed. The remaining 50% must be paid into the account one month before the first day of travel.
Cancellation conditions
Cancellation earlier than one month before the first day of travel: 50% of the total fee.
Cancellation within one month before the first day of travel: 100% of the total fee.
If the doctor falls ill before departure, no fees are due. Payments already made will be refunded.
If the doctor falls ill during the trip, the fees are to be paid pro rata for each full day of travel. No fees are then due for travel days that are not or not fully accompanied. Any overpayments already made will be refunded.
If the doctor falls ill, he or she is not liable for services or cancellation fees that the patient has agreed with third parties (airlines, hotels, etc.). The patient must ensure that he or she has appropriate insurance in that case.
Pets
Animals cannot be present during examinations, treatments or while the doctor is accompanying the patient.
